Vestige I - Foundation 

The first painting in the Vestige series establishes the visual language that continues throughout the collection. Built through successive layers of acrylic and mixed media using palette-knife techniques, the composition reveals a surface shaped by accumulation, removal and rediscovery.

Muted tones of stone, charcoal, teal and soft metallic gold suggest weathered structures and geological formations without describing a specific location. Texture becomes an essential element, allowing light to shift across the surface and revealing new details over time.

Vestige I reflects the quiet resilience of places altered by time, inviting contemplation through materiality rather than narrative.
