Vestige II - Echo
Vestige II continues the ongoing exploration of time, memory and the enduring traces left within the landscape. Built through successive layers of acrylic and mixed media using palette-knife techniques, the painting reveals a surface shaped through accumulation, concealment and discovery.

Subtle tonal variations of stone, soft white, charcoal and muted blue create a quiet sense of depth, while textured passages catch and reflect light, changing with the viewer's perspective. The composition suggests the remnants of weathered forms without describing a specific place, allowing atmosphere and materiality to take precedence over representation.

Part of the Vestige series, this work reflects an ongoing interest in permanence and transformation like Echo, where abstraction becomes a record of what echo leaves behind.
