Vestige IV – Passage forms part of the ongoing Vestige series, exploring the subtle traces left by time, memory and the changing landscape. Built through layered applications of acrylic and mixed media using palette-knife techniques, the painting develops a richly textured surface where each mark contributes to a quiet sense of history.

A restrained palette of soft mineral whites, deep teal, charcoal and warm earth tones creates a composition that feels both grounded and expansive. Horizontal forms drift across the canvas, suggesting the meeting of land, water and horizon without describing a specific place. Delicate metallic accents catch the light, adding depth and quiet luminosity that shifts throughout the day.
